Kezar Life Sciences (NASDAQ: KZR) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapeutics for chronic diseases.
Project (Delvona client work)
Kezar hired me to design and deliver three recruitment websites for three separate clinical trials. In a regulated environment, the work required careful content management, review cycles, and predictable delivery to meet compliance and IRB approval constraints.
What I built (React + Next.js)
Reusable site template for rapid delivery
To ship three sites quickly without sacrificing quality, I built a reusable template system:
- A shared Next.js base (layout, navigation, compliance footer, reusable sections)
- Study-specific configuration (branding, copy, eligibility info, site location, contact info) This allowed fast iteration and consistent compliance patterns across all studies.
Location + recruiting UX
- Implemented a map-based location module (clinic location + context) to help participants quickly determine whether the study was accessible.
- Built simple, accessible forms for contact / interest capture with clear consent language and submission feedback.
