Kezar Life Sciences (NASDAQ: KZR) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel therapeutics for the treatment of chronic diseases.

Project

Kezar hired me to design and develop three recruiting websites for three different clinical trials they were conducting. Working with a client in a regulated industry like pharmaceuticals, I had to ensure that the website met regulatory requirements, was compliant with industry standards, and passed institutional review board (IRB) approval. This required frequent communication and close coordination with the client on content and design, and ensured the project was completed on time.

Solution

To optimize for time efficiency, I designed a reusable website template in Webflow that met the overall needs of the client and could be easily customized for each study's branding and content.

I implemented a custom Google Maps embed to display the location of the clinical trial site, ensuring potential participants knew if the study was recruiting in their local area.
