Bored of Authority
I created a motion-first "coming soon" page for Bored of Authority, a specialty retail store, using React and Next.js to capture over 1,000 emails ahead of their e-commerce launch.

Bored of Authority is a speciality retail store located in Whistler, British Columbia.
Project (Delvona client work)
Ahead of a major e-commerce launch, I built a highly stylized “coming soon” page designed to capture demand and grow an email list, while matching the brand’s tone.
What I built (React + Next.js)
Motion-first landing experience
- Implemented a minimal, brand-forward layout with carefully timed motion and transitions.
- Used a component-driven animation approach so the experience was consistent across screen sizes and performant.
Email capture + list growth
- Built an email signup flow optimized for conversion:
- Minimal friction input + inline validation
- Clear success state
- Spam mitigation and basic rate limiting on submission endpoint
Result
Collected 1,000+ emails , helping convert pre-launch attention into momentum for the store launch.
